Morning Training 9:30 AM with assist from all Master Black Belts in PAC
Fundamentals & Basics, Foundation & Kata for PaSaRyu – We will work on katas from white belt on up. This refresher is to ensure everyone is on the same page as the videos on the PaSaRyu Youtube channel. We may section off into different ranks in order to help work on your particular requirements. You should be consistently training on all of your requirements and reviewing the videos to ensure you have not added or removed anything from the katas, yak soak detas or knife attacks. We are striving to perfectly replicate the movements that Grandmaster Rhee enshrined in video all those years ago. Staying true to that vision is what make this a martial arts system, straying from those requirements dilutes and weakens the system.
Lunch and Fellowship (box lunches provided) 12:00 PM
Afternoon Training 1:15 PM
Continuation of Kata, moving into Yak Soak Deta and Knife Attacks per system requirements. Ensuring all the finer points of each technique are practiced.
Sparring 2:30PM
Masters will be discussing and demonstrating techniques. If you wish to spar, please bring your gear, it is recommended to bring your full set to ensure safety. Sparring techniques and strategies will be discussed and then drilled. Once the techniques have been practiced solo, we can partner up and practice with each other. No contact for those without gear. Only participate in the things you are comfortable with and capable of. Kata will still be available if you would prefer to focus on that. This will be the last event of the day and we will be ready to hit the showers.
Conclusion & Wrapping up 3:15 PM Final Demos, Q&A for recap as needed.
(Note Seminar officially ending at this time and certificates made available.)
